I really love the concept and the placement. For some reason, the face itself isn’t as compelling to me. It might be that it’s not just my style portrait-wise, but it reminds me more of a strung out older guy than a girl (the emaciated cheekbones, etc). That said, it’s TOTALLY possible it’s just me, so take it for what that’s worth.
+1 for talent, beauty, and my desire to wear this.
Thanks Karyn for your vote and comment. When i started drawing the face, my idea was to draw a woman with a “dark” aspect and a little bit witchy, but if you see other things in her/him face it’s a good thing anyway.
Hope to see some of your works in future.
Ya know, witchy works too, haha. I was thinking like, Mick Jagger, but can definitely see “witchy” — which makes more sense.
I think you really executed this well, I just wasn’t sure when I first saw it whether you were aiming for “pretty/cute female” or something more serious/sinister. Knowing that you were aiming for something more serious — you did a perfect job.
I see Patty Smith in this face … Beautiful!
petali di cuore infranto.
i really like this illo. +1
the face has an uncanny resemblance of Marilyn Manson or someone from a Metal/ Rock Band but anyway i still love the design so lets go print it!
