Rafael Aguilar
Rafael Aguilar hails from Mexico where he spends his time animating, illustrating and art directing. He has an accomplished portfolio of personal work but he has also been employed in the design industry since 2004. Beginning as a Graphic Designer he has worked his way up to Interactive Director, impressive. His current position as art and interactive director at GrupoW has seen him produce award-winning work for brands such as: Nike, Coca-cola, Hasbro, Canon, Unilever, Jack Daniel's and Kellogg’s.
Rafael first caught our eye when our Creative Director stumbled upon one of his sketches earlier this year. His keen eye for Character Design, color and composition makes him a perfect choice for T-shirt design. ‘Cthulhu rises’ is one of many T-shirt designs we hope to see from Rafeal here at DBH.
