Design By Humans is all about celebrating the creative human spirit through unique design. Luckily for you, its also about giving away hefty cash prizes.

How It Works

The Design By Humans contest consists of 3 separate continual design contests: Shirt of the Day, Shirt of Week and Shirt of the Month. Original T-shirt designs are submitted to our website and voted on by the Design By Humans community all over the world. Shirts that garner the most votes become winners and the designer receives a cash prize. The winning design is printed here at Design By Humans and made available for purchase through our online store.

$750 Prize for Shirt of the Day $1000 Prize for Shirt of the Week $1750 Prize for Shirt of the Month

Each weekday a submitted design wins the Shirt of the Day (SOTD) prize of $750 ($500 cash & $250 store credit). Each week the five previous SOTD winners go head to head for the Shirt of the Week (SOTW) prize of $1000 cash. Then the four SOTW winners compete for the final prize of $1750 ($1500 cash & $250 store credit) and the coveted trophy and title of Shirt of the Month. All in all, a winning design that goes all the way can win up to $3500!

Artist Residuals

In conjunction with the daily, weekly, and monthly prizes being awarded here at DesignByHumans, artists will be paid an additional cash award based on the number of t-shirts sold over the life of the design via the DBH Rock Star Awards.

How To Enter

Create your art
Your design can be traditional art, paintings, illustrations, sketches, vector art, photoshop art, or however you like to design. To learn more about the different ways your art can be displayed on a t-shirt check out T-shirt Design 101.

Make it digital (if it’s not already).
If your design is traditional art, take a picture of it with a digital camera. Or, if your design was created digitally, then you’re ready for the next step.
