Cool concept and design. Have you also submitted a version without the top portion of the head, with just the bat symbol and the art within it? Just a thought…It’s quite eye catching and could easily stand alone without the top portion. Nice work btw.
@OfficeInk: Thanks! No I haven’t submitted an alternate version, as I already have two design in the competition. The original concept was just the symbol with the scowl, but the more I looked at it – it just kept coming across as a ninja, as there just wasn’t enough facial information within the space to come across as the scowl of Batman. I’ve created a version to show you what I mean.
Hmm.. looking at it now, it might still have worked. Well you live and learn. Either way, I think having the cowl doesn’t make the symbol so quickly identifiable and it appears after a few seconds – which I think adds to the value of the visual. Well, does for me anyway. In the end, removing the cowl from the top is a pretty easy thing to do – if requested. So we’ll see where this takes us. Thank you again for the comment and support.

Hey thanks guys for all the support!
smart design. looks great!
awesome idea and well made !
I think just the bat symbol with the eyes in it is enough, you don’t even need the top of the head, but great job!
