You know… if we are making the wearer into the “koi” that will become the dragon by shedding its scales… I have a suggestion here: you might want to make the entire pattern bigger when printed on the T-shirt itself. Right now what I am seeing is a very pretty design, but it’s small and crowded. On a T-shirt you want to make a visual impact right away. By increasing the size of the base pattern (so there are fewer repeats), I think we can get the “scale” idea much easier much faster.
Just some food for thought, of course.

@Egger the koi is meant to be interpreted with the scales itself. so you become the koi with achieving your ambitions. :)
