I did the original drawing in pen-and-ink many moons ago, but I think it was in that 40 hours of working range; the digital coloring and refining was probably another 15. A lot of time is just spent refining line-weights and line ‘curb weights’ until they’re just right in terms of energy and relation to exterior shapes/lines.
Although the artwork is exceptional I wouldn’t wear this basically because it has a generic vibe about it. I’m sure plenty more people would wear it though
