Great, but the shirt seems sort of blank, and I dunno how you would go about patching it up…

You got the right idea with this one, But like Intrepid (my old SWG server name) said it’s blank feeling because of the middle. The lines are a significant improvement. The fading of color from left to right on both is very nice, and the minor effects on some of the lines. But you could have found a way to blend them both in the middle and cover the whole shirt like your first design. Maybe a light shade of a base color for the shirt too, just a thought. Your so close to getting the whole package, pretty much all the elements are there in your first and second combined. Sorry if I seem like an ass, both versions are acceptable but I’m just trying to give you the feedback to get you a winner. +1

Look at this shirt from long ago, the usage of the full shirt, multiple colors and complicated lines of different styles, and a light off-white color. It’s all there, now seeing as your theme has been done before (ALOT) it will be hard to make it stand out, but it is possible, if you go beyond what shirts like this have done before, which won’t be easy.

EDIT: It should be noted though that the above mentioned shirt had a lot of controversy over the non-white color… so white could be a good choice, up to you.
