Cool print. Congrats!
Wow, this is so fantastic.
The print seems a little bit dark… Still an awesome tee, I wish they had printed this before the sale =(
Elegant and “magic” design. Congrats!
neat design!! i wish i could buy it..but i’m kind of out of money :[ maybe by the next sale it’ll still be here! or maybe a reprint of it. congratz, i actually love this design..which is pretty rare for me.
Thank you all once again :)
WOW congratz !
i think i voted for this. but the print didnt come out as well as the pic, is it?
@String…... DITTO x 9million
Thanks again everyone!
@transcend3nt: I think the print came out slightly darker as I believe it is halftoned straight onto the black tee, but I still think it came out great! When mine arrive in the post I will upload some product shots :).
Just got mine, print’s very difficult to see unless there’s a lot of light on the shirt. Just a warning.
I got mine today, it is a little different than the picture. The design is harder to see. It’s not DIFFICULT to see but it doesn’t pop like in these pictures. Also, the design is sort of a dark aqua or teal. It definitely has a green hue to it that doesn’t show in these pictures where it looks bright blue.
A word of advice, look at the jeans of the models and realize that their jeans are normal colored blue jeans. The jeans look a lot brighter and bluer and so does the design.
@String: the print is darker than the products shots suggest (these are for some reason always overly contrasted). Here are some shots I took in daylight conditions with no tweaking done to them (except of course making them smaller):
And two more: 1; 2. Hope this helps!
The model images above are photographed in a studio with lighting which sometimes bounces off the ink making it appear lighter. For this design we used some subtle half-toning and tried to get the softest feel possible with the ink. All – over prints can have a tendency to feel harder because of the volume of ink. It’s a balancing act between brightness and feel. Also the material soaks up the ink differently on different colors. Black can be a little sponge and suck up that ink and that is unavoidable.
Personally I think this design required a more subtle feel and I think ScarlettVeith’s images show that off well.
I actually agree with you wotto – the print is extremely soft and the details are all there. I also agree that if it had been as bright as my artwork was originally, I think it may have have a been a little too much and I actually quite like the subtlety.
