There doesn’t seem to be any cohesion in the design – it just looks like a bunch of elements thrown together in a design. The elements aren’t really working together for me in any way, and its just coming across as mishmashed together – something that I think does your style a disservice. You’re able to capture and render things in a very pleasing and detail oriented way, and all of that gets lost with this design.

Also, there’s a difference between great drawings, and great tee shirt design. This design’s just kinda slapped in a center placement – not really making use of the tee as a canvas and compounding the problem of the shirt coming across as not “visually arresting” – there’s nothing that makes me want to look at it and examine all the various parts of the design, nothing that keeps my eyes moving over the design to new areas.

This is a collage I created in pencil, about many different things we capture either in real life, tv, or imagination all mixed together… What I like about this design is that is very original, not meant to be in a t-shirt…. It doesn’t look perfect cuz I was looking for imperfections, since imperfections have their beauty too… and I like the little guy mowing lawn.
