"total rip" still sounds unreasonable to me. Sure, we both do crowded detailed drawings that form masses, but I think they look pretty different, and again, I didn’t know who he was before you posted that. I doubt he’s the originator of that idea, also.

sad thing is… i think he IS the originator of that idea.. BUT hes been ripped off so much (god knows why) that you are actually ripping off someone that ripped him off. either way.. its an aesthetic thats been done SO many times.. its not worth doing again. if DBH prints this.. they are clearly lacking in ideas and inspiration.

I don’t know what to tell you. I don’t see such a strong similarity between my piece and any of the work on Chuck Anderson’s website, and if you could show me someone else more similar I’d be curious to see, cause I didn’t make this piece trying to ape anyone. I was just doodling and this came out. If it’s true that other people are doing work so similar that this could be called a "total rip off" than I’m sorry, I guess. I wasn’t aware. In the case of Chuck Anderson’s work, I don’t see what’s so offensively similar about them, at all.

Sorry, but I have to agree with nits, Ive seen plenty of this "doodle" art, especialy on shirts.

although I will say it is stupid to argue over who was the "first." Its impossible to sperate artist like that. We all build with what was already there. Hell, its not a stretch to compare this design (and Chuck Andersons work) to cavepaintings
