Yet I think the shirt color is not the best one for that – using a very light shirt and sparing out her skin tone would be interesting. Or maybe printing on a black shirt, using the shirts color for the hair – this would really make the blood and he skin pop out violently, would look great.
Anyway the shirts color won’t change the fact that it looks really great, so +1 from me!

As for the color of the shirt, I was actually going for something a bit subtle, something that would mellow down the design a little bit because I felt that the contrast was too strong. The softer feel of the image on the shirt I believe, helps the eye move smoother around the design too.
But I’d like to thank you for your suggestions! I will take them into consideration when I post the other versions here in the comments.
