About the Submission

Another sharpie pen drawing with photoshop color; title pretty much explains the theme of the drawing. As far as the idea behind it I mainly wanted to do something that was a little more playful than what I normally do...my focus was on color for the most part. I basically started by picking the color for the 'sky' gradient and then just worked off of that, using a palette of colors from a similar tone or feel to enhance printability... I was again going for a storybook type of feel, which I seem to be in to lately, and I also wanted to play with using the shirt color in negative space (like the road) and trying to make the shirt look a bit like it was being peeled away (hope it comes across that way, at least a little)... I would say more but I'm cutting the deadline a bit close (let's just say I hope my clock and DBH's clock are about the same)... I'll post some more detailed images if this is accepted... much love, enjoy:peace!
