While I’m disappointed that DBH couldn’t make the shirt as awesome as the original design I would still buy it if the men’s shirt was darker like the women’s one is. The men’s shirt in the picture just looks incredibly washed out.

I agree. The men’s shirt makes it look like it didn’t even print correctly and the ink is peeling off.
i’m assuming that the men’s is lighter because they’re doing discharge ink or something, and it came out light on the men’s they photographed here;
i’m sure there’s a wide degree of variation.
congrats on the win but the print is a little disappointing. the water doesn’t really stand out like it did in the submission, which i think is one of the coolest parts of the design.

More than likely its because of the amount of touch-ups they did on the model pics. Changing the levels and curves to make the models look better can sometimes mess with the design.
Thanks Jimiyo, that makes me feel a little better about this. Though it still isn’t as nice as the original design… but since I like the design so much, and thestray seems like a cool guy, I’m gonna get one. =)

i just bought it, even though its not the same as the original, im sure it will still look sick.
I’m gonna take a chance and get one once I get the money. I just really hope it looks a lot better in person.

why were you guys unable to print the brown? would of it been too many colours?
I love the design- wish DBH didn’t have to slash it off at the middle seam though.
