yeah i was experimenting with other colours… but since his trademark is red… red was the final decision :) thanks for commenting on the design and voting!

It’s an… odd design imo. I just don’t think it flows well. There’s what appears to be a DJ booth with wings under it, and a background of a solar system, with a man with a mouse head. Instead of a space background, why not try a silhouette of a group of people/party? Or perhaps a vector of some sort. I think it would work better with the DJ part of the shirt and about the mouse guy… well I just don’t know what to say about that lol
Its art man- Personal expression- it does not always HAVE to make sense to everybody- and maybe it does all have a symbolic reasoning- haha Its cool if you dont like the flow but you dont need to rip apart every element ;)

Just giving my critique man :) Explaining why I don’t like it (and presumably why some others don’t either, seeing as it has 7 votes), helping him avoid the same mistakes in the future. I agree, art doesn’t have to make sense, but if it’s on a tee, I’d like for it to have at least some direction or idea as to what I’m looking at.

yeah he switches between blue and red… and then throws in some “surprise” specials… i think i’ve seen seen him bling one to the max with silver studs… hectic! lol :)

You know I’ve gotta say I can totally dig your defense of this shirt. That’s an important aspect of art that people forget. After all, if not for artists and their different styles, critics wouldn’t have a job. And honestly the design isn’t that bad either. :D +1

Personally, I find the clash of detailed space texture and the flat colored character to not mix very well, but I’m voting on the space sky, wondering how you did it.. very nice!

P.S. the ‘space’ effect people are referring to is just watercolor splashes transferred into photoshop!

Anyone here have a spark of intelligence? Dead Mau5 is a electronica artist who plays at Rave venues. His work is incredible actually. +1 Dead Mau5 would be proud.

Hehe.. this guy was here to play on Konemetsä! We have like 200 pics on our website from the festival and that guy also , so neat. Dont take this the hard way but I think the deadmau character could be little better done.. and some other colour would be finer also tha bleach red! The rest of the design is really nice!
