Very contrived. It’s almost like you’re forcing the concept of design serendipity, yet the outcome is a very trite execution. The choice and placement of the skull feels trendy and unwarranted. the gestalt of this design is unsettling. Very heavy on the right, with no counter balance. Too many colors on the top typeface. the bottom typeface is off-center intentionally? Another vague and abusive use of glyphs.
I like the Skull placement and the use of color.

serendipity(n.) luck in making discoveries.
what do mean by this statement?
“yet the outcome is a very trite execution. The choice and placement of the skull feels trendy and unwarranted. the gestalt of this design is unsettling.”
trite(adj.) commonplace; hackneyed.
gestalt(Pronunciation: \gə-ˈstält, -ˈshtält, -ˈstȯlt, -ˈshtȯlt\ noun
Inflected Form(s): plural ge·stalts also ge·stalt·en \-ˈstäl-tən, ˈshtäl, ˈstȯl, ˈshtȯl\
Etymology: German, literally, shape, form
Date: 1922) a structure, configuration, or pattern of physical, biological, or psychological phenomena so integrated as to constitute a functional unit with properties not derivable by summation of its part.
and…possibly and abuse of the english language??!!!
you, obviously, know nothing about design or what might appeal to the younger crowd.
some do, however, you don’t!
why don’t you climb off your thesaurus and admit that the design is kinda’ cool!
