I was thinking about a monumentous moment and the walk on the moon popped into my head. So I rolled with that. And I’ve always found the obelisk from “2001: A Space Odyssey” to be very intriguing. The lines emanating from the astronauts head obviously represents his sight, but I wanted it to represent his other senses as well. A melody line, also called the “lead” or “head” is used as a starting point for musical improvisation.

Wow… I absolutely love this. It reminds me of the windows screensaver, Mystify or something. I feel your concept with the lines represent sense works amazingly well. I’ve never seen such motion in a shirt before… it really feels like the lines are moving, expanding, radiating… great job. Amazing.

i’d love to see if you could bring the astronaut and other design elements at his side to the bottom of the tee—i think it’d really open it up and utilize the negative space.
