excellent realisation ;) +1 for sure
I agree with the majority of the comments. I believe your art will not be printed because of the placement the people keep talking baout.
I think the placement adds to the effect
Awesome design, and honestly I’d love to see this printed, but I must agree that it is way to similar to fatoe. Same style, same theme, same colors, same placement. I wouldn’t call it a rip, as it is clearly another image, different details, different approach, but the similarity is really huge.
I voted anyway, because I think it is very well done and it looks amazing, and in the end, you have to justify the similarity for yourself.
Great, I like it! Biz
I like this also. Good work. plus from me.
Tough call. If it wasn’t boxing imagery, and the splatter style was used on an animal, would people call it a collisiontheory vs jimiyo Angry Panda rip?
No doubt this is well done.
I personally dont consider treatment as rip. Cause who can put a copyright on ‘style’
Can Jackson Pollock call rip on Fatoe? Cause Pollock was the purveyor of using abstract splatters? Just because Fatoe integrated it with different imagery, does he get rights on using it on boxing scenarios now?
Does Collision now have rights on all images that have splatter on animals?
If there was an issue IMO, its the usage of a photograph. Unless a CC photo, if I was the original photographer, I recognized the perfect moment I captured this image, I would be somewhat annoyed that it was lifted, altered and made profitable.
I don’t think it’s a rip, after all if it wasn’t for other artists inspiring us we wouldn’t try as many new ideas and style. I would consider it a rip if somehow he got his hands on the collisiontheory vs jimiyo Angry Panda file and used the effects for himself, but it looks like this artist did the work and did an amazing job on it.
I mean come on – this debate cant be that deep..
I vote no rip.
All it’s guilty of is being derivative. Rip or no rip though, I don’t find it to be an appealing shirt.
Design is sweet, the placement is not. A full blown all over angled print would be badass!
Awesome Art! But I don’t know if it’s good placement!
How did you do this? Its amazing
Cool!! print please! +1
