This one is influened by the white makeup of KISS and associating it with history and culture. I thought of geishas, old horror movies, mimes, clowns. I settled on geisha for this one. I used the KISS oval symbols in the costume and instead of a traditional shamisen, I axed it up Gene Simmons style.

an original idea on the KISS contest, great take on the topic, linework is so tigth, looks like one of those ancient japanse chinese drawings, wich probably was the feel youwere going for, love the pattern with the mask logos on geisas suit, color is awesome and placemnet is perfect, fits so well, looks so rigth on the white shirt, anyways, always supporting your style, love it my friend, voted for sure….thanks for the comment, was feeling a little low, you made my day with your feedback..peace…

For the record… I’m in the lead today but your design is my personal favorite. TOTALLY cool the way you used the given elements as the pattern in the Kimono and the axe too.
someone tell me what is ORIGINAL about the kabuki pieces??? you can find the same art anywhere. so what, you changed whatever instrument they had to the axe. not original…so what that you added the kiss makeup and of course you had to be a whore and add the tongue. not original in any way. that shirts wouldnt sell anyway.
