I was sitting around one day, wondering (jokingly of course) what happens to all these video game characters once their “fame” is over. I imagined a world where a down-on-his-luck Pacman would be begging for “cherries” while the corporate “ghosts” go to work.
This artwork is a lot deeper than it appears. It’s a witty social commentary on the state of the current economic and social climate in North America. We have workers (like Pacman) who have been doing one single job for years, and they are now forced out of the job market, while the corporations’ top executives enjoy high pays and bonuses.

The pacman theme makes me relive my carefree childhood. But the deeper meaning behind the shirt stears me right back to reality lol. I’m sure that hits home for a lot of ppl too!
