This is my very first artwork submitted to DBH. This design is kind of a modern day take on the Adam and Eve “Tree of Knowledge”, but instead of an Apple, it’s a cupcake (much more tasty and tempting). It also has undertones of Little Red Riding Hood. It’s basically a play on temptation and trust in stories. Hope you like it!

This is a very cool design. Well thought out might I add. I had a similar idea…perhaps we can work together on a design(s) in the future. All the Best and well deserving of my vote.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I’m hoping this one gets printed as I think it would be cool to break the “trend” of similar shirts that are printed. I’ll also be posting more work soon, so stay tuned.

I’ve updated the design based on comments in this thread. I agree that the placement was a little off. I’ve fixed that by lowering the design. I’ve also reduced the color palette a bit and added some texture using halftone and sketch lines (not visible at web size).
I personally really like the top “temptation” text I added, but if DBH chooses to print the design, it can be up to them if they keep the text or not.

A drawing on the back with her sharing the cupcake with a boy would be awesome!
That is a fantastic idea StagnantLife. It does somewhat change the meaning a little bit, but it would be a nice addition. Thanks for the comment.
