Thanks. It started off like that, I just didn’t personally like it as a shirt. And I wanted to play around with depth.

Thanks Griff. It started out as part of a quick illustration for an art activity at an infamous forum called eatpoo.

I can’t claim the idea of an ape dog hybrid as my own, because that was the mascot of eatpoo, however they used a chimpanzee head and a different dog body. I decided to toughen it up by using a fierce gorilla head, and the tough sturdy stocky body of a bull terrier.

Lots of people who have seen the illustration have said “Whoa! I love that apedog! You should put him on a shirt! And well… here I am ;)
