Another conceptual piece for the Quiksilver contest. The idea this time, was to create a literal interpretation of the brand name. It came down to a few options, but this one had a lot of visual continuity with the brand logo, being able to play on the red and white logo’s of both things. I really enjoyed playing on the standard assortment of tools that are included in this type of utility knife, to create the “hidden” letters.
All the metal parts will use silver foil or metallic ink.

yeah i like the idea behind the “quik” part. maybe the “silver” chain leaves me a little doubtful.
smart anyway.

cheers.
Funny, I have a Swiss Army Knife collection, and I think this would be a great addition. I want it.
Idea is good, and also the work, but I dont like the shirt colour and that fuzz on the back of Illy. Too much Vectorinox style, but as trige says it`s clever. Got my vote!
Vectorinox? I do not know what that is, but thanks for the feedback and vote. Thanks everyone else as well.
