Well, ideally I would want the design to be a black shirt with white design. And I chose this because even though the design is basically half white half black, I like the look of black shirts better and they are more opaque. Also, because fading is inevitable, I would rather have slight fade of white on a black shirt (because white seems to fade less in the wash than black) than more fade to gray on a white shirt.
However, I feel like the design would work independent of the shirt color. And since black ink is cheaper and easier to apply, as well as white shirts being the cheapest to produce, DBH might want to resort to black ink on a white shirt.
This design seems rather lacking of any aesthetic value. I don’t understand the draw of such a bungled art-style that the so called, “artist”, has presented here.

Could you explain what you mean by that? Are you merely saying that the design doesn’t fit your taste, or would you like to broaden that view to the philosophical notion of beauty that aesthetics seem to be?
Tell me, did you sign up just to tell someone that he’s not “artist” enough to you?
StormInk> I think this looks great. Reminds me of “My neighbour Totoro”. I was going through my saved feeds, and was hoping this one had printed already. I hope it still will be!
my personal opinion, nice concept but seems a bit too bland. my constructive criticism would be to see about adding some vertical lines in some of the white portions of the rain giving the view/sense of buildings around “them”. I would also say that the little kid and guy holding the umbrella could be just a little bit bigger, good placement though. One last note, I would give the little boy a little detail to him (little bit of facial detail, little clothing detail….cause he is out of the rain) and leave guy hold the umbrella as is in the dark silhouette. I’ hope you take my constructive opinion just as what it is “just someone’s opinion”.. if you like it? take the opinion into consideration, if not, don’t.. best of luck to you and your work.

Either is fine pretty much.

If it finished does that mean it won’t print?
Not necessarily.
