The whole point of the blurred effect is to project the aftermath of the explosion like dust and debris in the atmosphere.

The explosions inside the cockroach are optical illusions to accent the body of the insect.

good idea!… but poor execution. the art is a bit sloppy and blurry. it would look much better with crisp and clear edges. and maybe just one really good explosion inside the cockroach
