It is so cool to see this topic after the discussion I had just the other night. I brought this up from an episode on Animal Planet I had watched about some elephants whose faces were brushed with paint and a mirror was placed in the yard.. it took the elephants a moment to recognize the image after they placed their trunks in the area where the red paint had been brushed.
