A Forest with Feathered Edges

This is a nice idea… my advice is to work it a bit more and i think you should drop the fading edges… +1 vote though.

I feel there isn’t enough contrast and the vibration is too great. Explore other colour schemes that hold more contrast and don’t strain the eyes- It will really bring out the potential of your design.
