This sort of line style is great – not sure if it’s auto tracing or hand drawn, either way it’s working. I would say try a complete subject in this style and design the type out a bit more – ruler it, kern it, and maybe use a typeface that contrasts with the style (something bold/oblique) – also this subject would work great on white or cream color to keep with the ‘handdrawn’ motif.
