I like this idea – and think the vectoring is great – but I hate skulls; between being cliche and representing death and sadness, I think there’s a better way to promote the visual idea of guardian of the heart; what if you had Cerebus (3 headed dog/Guard of Hades) in front of the heart – also, it looks good in the middle of the shirt – but for this I would say try it off-center (literally over the heart)

I feel the same Kaizenick, I too love the idea, always think the same though. The design reminds me closely of another I had seen on Cafe Design though.
