Barnaby the Raccoon was lonely as could be. A typical hobo raccoon he was, traveling from forest to forest. But nobody would be his friend. Everywhere he would go, all the forest animals would stare and point at him in complete dismay. But what he couldn’t see, that everyone else saw, was his unfortunate choice of hat. Moral of the story: Don’t fashion your own species as a hat, you will never make any friends.

Just beautiful.
You could just have the squirrel, rabbit or the raccoon printed large on a shirt by themselves.
