yeah, that is obviuosly common and senseless. According to Marcel Duchamp, one of the greatest artists of our last century, the art or anything supposed to be it must express an intelectual concept not only the "retinal" part of the perception. but in here the only thing I se is a guy trying to make money buy applying cliched concepts that will be easily adored by the ignorant ppl

I like this design, a lot, and will buy a print if it is selected. Sometimes, all I’m looking for is a fantastic appeal to the retinal part of perception, for a t-shrit, that’s all I need. Call me an "ignorant ppl" if you will, but personally, when I want intellectual enlightenment, I turn to mathematics, and don’t look for it printed on a t-shirt.

I’ll admit that after the first glance which left me thinking that the shirt was awesome; I realized that it had been done before. Regardless it still has the wrap-around flame which I don’t remember similar shirts having (think Yu-Gi-Oh god forbid). Its saving graces are the wrap-around and the placement.

I will buy the shirt when it gets printed.

This is how dragons should be pulled off. I’m a huge fan of art with meaning behind it and the_jcw has done those before so saying he’s just out to make money is crap. in my opinion, dragons, felines and monsters destroying cities are totally cliched concepts that are only done beacause of fear of trying something new and can be found everywhere. I don’t like to wear a shirt just because of the "radness" of it, this looks so empty and hollow. since there are better shirts on the running.

seanlee would you prefer a shirt that says E=MC2. There are so many shirts on here, so instead of leaving negative comments that don´t help the actual design find some intelctual shirts and comment in a positive way. I have a shirt inspired by the game mouse trap for example, start there.

So I think I’ll vote for this one too, it’s pretty sweet. Kinda, in a really distant way, remind me of the part of the animated Hobbit movie, when Smog attacks the river town, that’s how cool this design is.

Personally I can’t stand this design. The funny thing is is that I love a lot of jcw’s other designs, like his tag one and octopus one which are some of the sickest designs I’ve seen on here. I feel like he’s def one of the better designers on the site. I think he can do better than this. Just being honest, sorry if I offend anyone.

You know what, I guess I take that back in a sense, while I still don’t like the design I guess if it got this many votes it must connect well with enough people and therefore is a good design.

niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice dash of flame going to the back of the shirt. I like how abstract the piece is while still retaining a very nice concept, especially abstract from the back until you see the front and presto!- it all makes sense. +1.

... I love the style of the dragon – and I like the idea of the wrap-around. What I would suggest is more of the dragon (and more of that awesome style) coupled with the fire that’s similar in style but different in coloring… and molding back into the dragon. That way as it’s wrapped around, it would be a continuous shape.
