I was thinking maybe some texture could make it more interesting, reminiscent of old grainy black and white films. What do you guys think? Texture or clean version?
Really cool concept – as far as the grain goes, I can only see the main difference in the complete dark areas, I would go with the original because DBH would be more likely to print if it has less colors (remember all those candies!)
@StrawberryDude -Yeah, I was worried about having too many colors, that’s why I used a solid black at first. Initially, I also wanted to do different kind of candies, but decided to do only one kind with just 4 colors, to limit the palette.

I like the idea of texture so it’d bring out the sweets in greater contrast. But either way it will be a great design.
