I’ve always been attracted by Mother Mary/Lady Guadalupe artwork. I’m not Catholic or even very religious, regardless I find the example of such a person, if she were to have existed, inspiring. I take influence from Alphonse Mucha, and the cherubs are drawn from a William Bouguereau painting. I hope its not too religious for even secular people to rock. Everyone can appreciate a mom.

Saw this over at emptees. I really like it. Catholic imagery really stands out and makes a nice tee. Plus, amazing detailed drawing. Glad to see another representing Tennessee! Good job!

I’m Catholic, and I love the Image as well as your choice of color, but what I love most is the respectful nature of your image description. And your right Everyone can appreciate a mom. +1

I like how Mother Mary is depicted in such simple clothing, reflecting her human side, yet, She was chosen to be the Mother of Christ. A simple human being, entrusted with a the most important role in history!Good on you Jimiyo! This will get printed and i will be buying!
