You know, I struggled with the rays too. I was going to leave ’em out, right up until the last minute. Easy enough remedy; the simplicity of layers and the delete key.

the rays aren’t that bad. if you had them fade away as they go outward. and if they’re fading away then i’d like it to be in a more oval like shape instead of the square. either way. +1

I like the rays anyway. Looks like the shark and octopus are getting sucked into the great abyss..only they are totally unaware. I like the oval idea. The design’s really powerful

I love it, but I think you should have thrown a pipe snake into the mix………P.S. Captain Dickie adds an interesting touch. I can see him calming stating the facts!!!

this is really wicked cool, but i think it would benefit from some shadows in the water behind the octopus and shark to give it more depth.. seems kind of flat.

i think it’s great, of course, all your talent is in the genes, however yours came out a little more twisted! Interesting……..

maybe even laser eyes for oct or shark, just one, both cant have laser eyes. maybe an uzi. that would be a fair fight.
