I wanted to reinterpret the natural effect of light as it passes through a prism. Added my own twist with a burst of colors instead of just straight lines. I have 2 options for the placement utilizing the front and back of the shirt.
This is obviously also inspired by Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon album cover. Just don’t tell me this is a rip =)haha

I love this… it’s an obvious tribute to Pink Floyd but you manage to make the design your own… nice work, I’d totally buy this

I don’t see how this can be a pink floyd rip off at all. It’s not like they invented fucking physics. If you choose that argument than you might as well say Pink Floyd ripped off Isaac Newton.

My only complaint is that the light is refracting in the wrong direction. ;)

really creative! i think the one on the right with the single white stripe at the front which bleeds into the colour at the back is far more powerful! first vote ever on DBH

ohhh I think I figured out why I can vote on designs 2 times now! it happens every time one is about to be printed. It happened to parasite, and that bold design. WOO. going to buy this.
Great design. Andy Warhol painted Cambell’s soup cans and reprinted images of Marilyn Monroe, changing only the colors. No one challenged his creativity. Vincent Van Gogh painted “A Modern Olympia” as a direct reinterpretation of Manet’s “Olympia”. No one criticized Van Gogh! The Dada artist Marcel Duchamp drew a mustache on a poster of the “Mona Lisa” and sold it as original art. His off-beat art inspired multiple modern art movements. While I can see how other people may find this derivative, I see it only as one artist citing another.
Man I hope this gets printed soon, too me the fact that it resembles pink floyd is what makes this shirt really cool! It’s like a modern remake of the old boring design :)

nice rendition of dark side of the moon. Rainbow in the front looks better in the back in my opinion
Nice. I like the prism on the front with only a hint of color, then the explosion on the back.
Love it! Please print this either way, though I do prefer the right design where the color wraps around the back, makes it more interesting.

Man! This is totally a rip of that thing we used in earth science! What was it called…? Uhh… Oh that’s right the Pink Floyd Doohickey, thingamajinger. Etienne-Louis Malus in 1808 first discovered the phenomenon and i think he’d say, “totally rad shirt dude!”
ok, i commented on this before, and i sorta changed my mind, yeah, it is a bit hackneyed, but i still like this. i agree that piossibly if you could push it to the next level? but if not, then im still def buying it! i still like it, and i don’t exactly think it’s a rip off. i mean, pink floyd’s design wasn’t that original anyways, so you created a more interesting version of a prism and colors, not exactly a more interesting version of pink floyd’s album cover. its good, great!
