DBH Music Series Presents Lil WayneUnquestionably Lil Wayne will go down in history as the best rapper of his generation. Indeed he may go down as one of the best artists in hip-hop period. One look at Lil Wayne’s impeccable track record will convince even the most ardent skeptic that the New Orleans born lyricist is a strong contender for the crown of “Greatest of All Times.” Now with his highly anticipated sixth and arguably his best album The Carter III, Lil Wayne’s career and legacy is set to climb to even greater heights. "I made The Carter III so that whatever song is on, it will stick with you forever,” says Wayne. “That’s why I took my time with it. I wanted it to be a classic.” Born DeWayne Michael Carter, Jr. and raised in New Orleans infamously poor Hollygrove neighborhood, his talent drew interest from major producers at an early age. In 1997, a 15 year old Wayne joined forces with BG, Juvenile and Turk to form The Hot Boys for their debut album Get It How U Live. The record sold over 400,000 copies independently. The Hot Boys sophomore LP Guerilla Warfare (1999) went platinum and earned Wayne critical acclaim. That set the stage for his platinum selling 1999 solo debut Tha Block Is Hot. GQ Magazine named Lil Wayne as its “Man Of The Year” for 2007. Rolling Stone Magazine tagged him as “Best MC of 2008” while Blender Magazine (2008) named him the “Best Rock Star Alive.” So it should come as no surprise that his latest solo outing finds the hip-hop super star at the top of his game. With Tha Carter III, Lil Wayne proves to the world why he is indeed considered “the best rapper alive” and one of the great recording artists of his generation. |

Again, let me what you think about my design. Critique, comment, VOTE, etc http://www.designbyhumans.com/vote/detail/52289 All the Best!
On a super serious note, who’s voting on these designs?!?!? I’m pretty sure DBH will keep it fair. 200+ votes I seen…not happenin! I seen a few that missed out on what the contest was about. Ought to be interesting. Guess I’ll blab away until the 10th. More than welcome to join me….
I would love to see DBH make a contest to design a tee featuring their logo (the U with the diacritical marks) once ’Lil Wayne is done.
Are DBH its going to re Do this challenge or somenthing, this is so wierd, its seems like they are planning some pull out move or somenthing
what happen with the results? what is this lack of seriousness?? please people this is very weird in a contest
I understand that these kind of things are sometimes out of the DBH guys hands. Lil Wayne could be too loaded to pick, on tour etc etc. Would be good to get an update though.
It would be fun be informed on whats going on. We can understand if we know whats happening,
yeah with the artist he prolly don’t even know he has a tee shirt contest.. truely managers prolly set this up, and didn’t think to tell him.
So i think that the top 2 designs should be printed… Young Money beats the pants off Concrete!!!! hahah,
“Destination Wayne’s World” check me out: http://www.designbyhumans.com/vote/detail/52289 You vote…and I win…willing to use my DBH store credit to get you a shirt. Taking names now…
