The Krampus is a figure from German/Austrian folklore. He is an assistant to Saint Nicholas during the month of december. While Saint Nick gives out sweets and gifts to the good children, Krampus comes to punish the bad ones! This image's text is based on popular early 1900's postcards that featured this character and reads "Greetings from the Krampus!"
