This piece was inspired by Emiliano Zapata and is titled “For The People.” He was a realist with the goal of achieving political and economic emancipation of the peasants in southern Mexico, and leading them out of severe poverty. The art includes leaves found in my yard, political sayings from Zapata andtraditional fall colors amongst an array of textures.
