Not as dumb as your failed balloon design.
I’ll get this. Just gotta get those DBH bucks in real quick then this will be mine. :)
i bought this shirt and its even cooler in person. Its not exactly a white t shirt like you see in the pic but i think it looks better. I got multiple compliments on the first wear, so all of you people hating and voting for the ultra-graphic death scenes with corpses put onto a t-shirt because they have good “detail”, can be quiet.

Thanks for your interesting comment. :)

Criticism isn’t “hatred”. This design is unappealing to me because I find it hollow and uninteresting. And trust me – I find skeleton/death designs to be silly too and I don’t vote for them. I understand that you enjoy this shirt, but you didn’t really refute any criticisms, and you’re characterizing the design’s critics unfairly.
Brilliancy, please don’t take my criticisms personally. You’ve been extremely polite and I’m happy for your win. :)
I just wanted to congratulate your win because I’ve noticed that most shirts on this site are intensely (and sometimes unnecessarily) detailed. I, myself, love minimalism. So I think it’s great that everyone put their tenacity aside and voted for it. I think the design is great, I’m just not really into light colored shirts.

plz vote my first ever design
I don’t usually leave comments but when I saw that this design actually won, I couldn’t believe it. It’s a very boring unimaginative design anyone could have made. There is nothing artistic or cool about this one. Those who voted for this one seriously need glasses or were just being smarta**es. I mean come one people just look at it, even the colors are awful, who wears those awful colors?
If anybody could have made it then why haven’t you made it? or why haven’t we seen this shirt yet? I’m sure alot of thought went into the creation of this t-shirt that i bet all the haters talking couldn’t even fathom cause they can’t think this way. To me i don’t see a boring design and unimaginative. I think how the artist brought together 3 colors that absolutely work with each other and that if the stripes weren’t centered just right that it would kill the entire piece and make it intolerable looking. You also have to think about the time that we are in and how this design fits into it all. With that said congratz Brilliance on your win, i’m not a fan of the shirt and probablyy don’t see myself buying it but i understand it all ;)
I wouldn’t buy it, but I appreciate that DBH considers all designs for their contests. Brilliancy’s submission was different, and apparently controversial. Have some people re-examined their ideas of t-shirt design? Definitely. Creating controversy that adds to (or redefines) our worldview is what art is all about.
Congrat’s Brilliancy! And good luck to your Valentines Day shirt, too!
I think this is refreshing than most of the overly detailed shirts on this site. THis is gonna be the first shirt i buy on this site :D. Can someone tell me what the difference is between reprint and restock? its been bothering me a lot…er wait reprint means restock here right? .

Yes, cause its awesome.
I will drop my two cents on this. There is no hatred on this design for winning. Everyone has the right for there opinion. On the design world there is always critiques. You could create the most beautifull design and you will still have your opinions. Good and Bad. We as designers just gots to be ready to defend our work. Me personaly dont like this design. its nothing. There is no thought in this. A block of silver ink and green ink. It just dosen’t do it for me. But Thats my opinion. Its not my decision to print this and I wount buy it. Congrats to the winner.
i love your work. Most of my work is very minimal just like this. It annoys me that i didn’t think of this one :) i’ll buy it when i get a spare $20 :P
At long last! Today I received that t-shirt. Looks nice. Only one thing I wish it was white, not mint. :)

funny how many people are hating on a spectacular design like this, brilliancy understands how to design for a t-shirt, his graphic is far superior than nearly all of the shirts on here and he gets dissed because his WINNING design doesn’t appeal to 15 year old skateboarders like the rest of yours?
and $19 dollars for a well designed quality t-shirt is very cheap, i’ve scoured the internet for minimalist t-shirts and only find $55 white shirts with a single black triangle printed on them, minimalism doesn’t come cheap and is NOT easy to dream up / execute well
cheers brilliancy, I love the Helsinki fashion blogs and you captured the city’s very progressive and cool style with your simple elegance.

Thanks for your support.
I think it is an awesome simplistic design, the design alone isn’t really much, but laying on the t-shirt it looks really good.
brilliant, brilliancy.

Congrats on the win!!! Glad this one made it.
