My grandfather told me once that a deer’s age can be counted by the number of his horns and by the complexity on how tit has branch-ed’, and, this how the design came up. As we grow and mature, we FADE, but as we challenge ourselves with our age, we also gain an incredible amount of experience and wisdom…that’s is why we BLOSSOM even at the end of everything.
HAHAHA. Its kinda strange that my inspiration goes with the theme of aging.
Another inspiration of the design is the Princess Mononoke movie. Semi inspired by the deer god who cuts and gives life in the story.

I don’t know if I’m completely sold on the background of the shirt, but I love the idea and the deer itself.

It’s nicely looking, but the style and deer remind me too much of a threadless print.
Haunting design….love the choice of colours. Can I ask what the shape is on right side of the antler?

its a hairy owl. I try to achieve the negative space thing so i decided to make it more like a shape than a detailed illo.
