...not a picnic blanket. Just a simple all over print reminiscent of a keffiyeh scarf. No political meanings here, I don’t wear it for any sort of greater purpose.
Has anyone done this before? I don’t know. Whateverrrr.
I had some stranger color combos, but I ended up liking the neutral green and brown the most.

It’s cool but i don’t know if it would be accepted
appleseed Jun 17, 2008
This design is a perfect example of a kick ass belt print that you would easily see in a retail establishment. It may not be all sorts of design crazy like most of the stuff on this site, but it (to me) is FASHION! I would wear this fu**ing shirt every day. Good job dude! Way to keep it simple yet effective. VOTED!
cbass99 Jun 17, 2008
I like the darker brown one…killer.
Matt-ate-u Jun 17, 2008
Lovely pattern! I also enjoy the dark brown.
Incarnadine Jun 17, 2008
Thanks guys. Yeah, it’s sorta something I’d see in ForeverXXI or Urban Outfitters or something, but hey, why not give it a shot here? It’d be neat to have a belt print.
This is just one of my more casual designs, just messing around in PS. I kinda have this deal in my mind where if DBH prints an epic design of mine, like "Now, Let’s Remain Civil, Gentlemen", I’ll follow it up with a better one each time ("With Luck…"). I have one ready (sketch in my profile)... let’s just see if "With Luck…" will win eventually tho, haha.
Nocturne888 Jun 17, 2008

I like the green, but the darker brown is great too. I’d buy either one. Definitely should get printed!

Oooo I really like this. Clean and fashionable!
trespasser Jul 10, 2008
Because that scarf has been a fashion item in this side of the globe for about a year, this shirt would be a kick-ass for those maniacs.
KUBIZZZ Jul 20, 2008

zvifinklestein Oct 08, 2008
man i like this a lot i just don’t like the color choice |:
ChrisWilmes Oct 08, 2008
Looks cool. Not sure I’m into the Camel Back colour. Also, what’s with this unique shirt thing? They are advertising print errors? Doesn’t change the fact that this is a cool design!
Renae Oct 08, 2008
Nice design. Not liking the green for the girl’s, though. :/
fcuk Oct 08, 2008
Simple, altough really fascinating! shame, 2 days ago i have already placed an order to my favs:(
dcastle8183 Oct 08, 2008
awesome! I really like this. I also dig the color. Congrtaz!
screamqueen Oct 08, 2008
this is awesome, congrats!
ij00mini Oct 08, 2008
I think this design would also look really good on white with red or blue ink.
Incarnadine Oct 08, 2008
Thanks DBH! It turned out nicely. To the people wondering about printed errors, haven’t you seen that kind of disclaimer on some brand name shirts before? It’s simply due to the process of screen printing, there’s bound to be some errors around the shoulders and sleeves, and I suppose they make a big deal about it so when someone gets it they don’t end up trying to return it for a ‘perfect’ print.
jsheldon Oct 08, 2008
Very very cool! We nee more of this around here. Congrats!
campkatie Oct 08, 2008
this turned out wonderful! SO happy to see this printed. too bad they didn’t print the black on green one…oh well. CONGRATS!
the_jcw Oct 08, 2008
wow, very interesting, amazing work on an all over print
cbass99 Oct 08, 2008
really cool!
loveafordmustang Oct 08, 2008
Very Batik! Very Ethnic! Repeating patterns boxed in lines are common favorites in Asia…specially by Indonesians, Indians Malaysians, Thai, Singaporeans, Filipinos and Cambodians. They’d love the natural hues of brown and natural green. And if you added a parrot or a tiger or any beast on it, it would have looked like the souvenir polo shirts from Bali. Me? I could appreciate the design, but would not wear it on a tee shirt. Congrats on your shirt of day win!
Teddyfish Oct 08, 2008
Oh how I long for the time the keffiyeh scarf still stood for something besides hipster-coolness.
rohicks Oct 08, 2008
I like the color of this shirt. I may buy this at some point, but not now; just put in an 80 dollar order last weekish.
ChrisOmlor Oct 08, 2008
Congrats Ryan, wow this one has been up for months! Bet this came as a nice surprise… I’m looking forward to your mixed media piece
leonardo Oct 08, 2008

LukeLukeLuke Oct 08, 2008
amazing. i will be buying.
TBone Oct 08, 2008
why couldn’t they print something like windswept or the clouds one? incarnadine has some sweet shirts. this one just doesn’t do it for me
GoonHand Oct 08, 2008
its alright mine are better though check mine out.
CardinalGoldstein Oct 08, 2008
Is this something I want? Oh, yes.
Gozz Oct 08, 2008
Incarnadine man you’re killing it with all these wins. Good job.
StringCheese Oct 08, 2008
Yes man! keep it up :)
senser1080 Oct 08, 2008
FFFFFFFFFF THIS MAKES ME SO MAD. "very batik" How could something be very noun? Sorry, I just hate the keffiyeh and it’s patterns. They’d love the brown and or green? Brown doesn’t look good on south east Asians… Like myself.
GregMcgee023 Oct 08, 2008
i don’t understand the hype about the "every shirt is unique" printing because so far the only unique thing i see is blotches where the ink didn’t print right
rwall91 Oct 09, 2008
Does this shirt have a print on the back, or is it only in the front, I can’t really tell. Please someone tell me?
Incarnadine Oct 09, 2008
"100% Ringspun Combed Cotton, Premium Fashion Fit Tee. Extra Soft, All Over, One Color Softhand Plastisol, Front Print."
bortwein Oct 09, 2008
wow, I just read up on the Keffiyeh pattern and the scarfs. I didn’t realize they had such a political and controversial history. I love the look of this shirt, but now I’m not sure I’d feel comfortable wearing it without the possible threat of confrontation. Politics have ruined this design for me. Still congrats on the print and I do like how this shirt looks.
jonnyblack Oct 09, 2008
just purchased this one… love the design, love the "camel back" color and grey screen print. can’t wait to wear it. boombastic

bortwein Nov 06, 2008
Front Print Only. It says it up there in the description.
SyntheticEddie Nov 07, 2008
For some reason the womans version looks alot better than the males in the pictures.
rohicks Nov 07, 2008
No more larges?!
migalicious Nov 07, 2008
I agree with rohicks, if this got reprinted I’d totally buy it.
ChrisWilmes Nov 09, 2008
The chicks version looks a lot better. Imo, the camel back doesn’t do the mens version any justice.
arklo Nov 10, 2008
i really like this design
chienchien Nov 10, 2008
This is very cool!
KeeperDeAmour Nov 10, 2008

rohicks Nov 11, 2008
iiii WANT A LARGE reprint danget.
Progniss Nov 12, 2008
Dang I wish they made the Cream and sugar in the guy version… Maybe I’ll just have to buy a lager girls shirt, so I can have that one. Love this shirt! If you have time, I am new to DBH. I would love if you checked out my VZ contest submission. I would really like to hear your input. Thanks! Hope to see more of your work soon.
