Colorful, bright imagery seems to be taking over this year over the muted tonal imagery of last year’s heraldy, so this is my first attempt to be colorful, beyond the illustration Nascar, and Deer hunting tees I’ve designed before.

I would like to thank all of you for your support and votes! Even the guys who call me a fucking homo. That was very entertaining pencil dick. LOL.
Regarding the colors, I believe they can do this CMYK with bump plates with good accuracy. I put it on white so if they decided to do process colors, they would have an easier time.
Even with 8 colors, since the overall tonality is red, one could easily separate this using index separations.

doctorthodt – it was my fault, they were unable to get silver grey, so they asked me white or heather gray. in hindsight, i should have considered heather gray. i shoulda mentioned to tone down the black if going on white. i hope they print this, i havent done anything super colorful like this for DBH or much at all in my personal work. it’d be nice on a silver grey too. we’ll see…
out of curiosity… how long did this take you? and did you use photoshop?
obviously I’m new at this. great work though!
i think it took around 15 hours
i sketched most of it on paper… fish, tiger, birds, clouds, flowers, then its pretty easy from there on until coloring cause its just collaging the pieces together in photoshop.

Wow – such a difference between guys and gals versions. I kinda like the guys because it is sooo different than the normal DBH design, but I admit the front placement is…strange. It’s an interesting product for sure!
rad design, …the illuminati eye is starting to show up so much lately (not just on here) im starting to wonder if its the next 45/angle arrows or paint drips ;)
