ohbarrett has 3 designs in the running. This is the 1st winning design for ohbarrett.
This was part of a school project a little over a year ago and it turned into a series of prints. Now I’m going to try my hand at a series of tees. This particular design has been stolen by a few people and ripped off a number of times. Help me out and get the legit version out to the public.

the wrap of the image onto the back is a nice touch for the flow of it

OMG this is insane. Wicked design. IF ONLY the tee itself wasn’t white. Hate white tees. Otherwise, very original and fresh design. You got my vote though for sure. Hope they’ll use a different tee if they print it.
don’t usually like silhouette people, but the placement of the color makes this fun
White is the new black. But in all seriousness, the shirt is white because the original print is on white. Also, a white silouette on black does not have the same impact.

Maybe DBH will put it on black. Who knows. I know I didn’t like reversing the silhouette to white on black. Maybe it would work if I made the silhouette 85% K on black. Who knows.
Nah this needs to stay on white. That’s the way this design has been and should be! It would ruin the continuity of the entire series. I love how it goes onto the back as well. Very nice touch Oliver.

that is great for you, sotm, but i’m surprised that this shirt has won so much, no offense, but it looks to me like some work a guy did who found out about graphic design, with the typical illustrations, the given forms etc. in my opinion you got so much better work on your site.

Hey yehteh, sounds to me you’re feeling bad because your shirt didn’t win SOTM. I think it’s a great shirt, I wouldn’t buy it because it’s on white but i think it’s just damn clever. He used a simple shape, made it come to life and created an iconic image. It’s pretty strong if you ask me.

This is like a whimsical version of “Digital Rain”; another shirt here. Great minds and the like thinkin’ and whatnot. I love ‘em both. Then I read your intro text. I hope the Digital Rain design isn’t stolen, It’s cool to think of two designers having such a similar idea, The almost compliment each other; the boring, binary/business side of design in Digital Rain, and the colorful carefree, creative side here.

Yes it is. I’ve been wearing them for a few months now and love them. I’m not just saying that because I work here. I really, truly love the fit and the fact that there is hardly any shrinkage. You’ll love it.
I’ve gotten a few, and they are amazingly comfortable. I did notice however, that one of the mediums I bought was a good bit larger than the other two mediums I bought. However, I think I can fit into a small, so the point should be moot.
The male model looks silly in this shirt… Not the right guy for it :P

The top two are done by me. The 2nd one was for a client who had asked for a piece similar to the first one. The shutterstock image is probably inspired by one of those pieces.
I would like it better if the downpour was coming from one side or the other and not the middle….still, pretty cool
