About the Artist
benharman has 3 designs in the running. This is the 1st winning design for benharman.
This is just a little twist on the children’s book “The Giving Tree”. If you never read it as a child, you’re missing out. Shel Silverstein was a genius. Anyway, it’s about time the tree got back at that greedy little kid.

Usually I don’t end up buying shirts on here even with 25% coupon codes; but this shirt (and the code =D) made me give in and finally get a DBH shirt. I love it so very, very much.
I loved this book and your design, but is there any chance of you printing it on a different color background? I don’t love the green on green.
I got this shirt in the mail today. Looks nice. The shirt’s green is a little lighter than I thought given the picture, but I still like it a lot.
You should check out pbfcomics.com and look for the one called “The Unforgiving Tree”
I would love a reprint of this, preferably with the men’s tee on a darker color, like the girl model has on.

you guys did see that they posted the image in a 1600×1000 jpg, right? you can make it yourself for cheaper and any color t shirt and style.

So you have no respect for DBH or benharman? That’s pretty much what you are saying by insinuating you are going to steal the artwork and have it printed yourself.
DBH owns the rights to the image. They are free to sue anyone who is using it without their permission.
I DO respect DBH and benharman but they wont reprint it so that was another solution for people if they really want this T. Id rather DBH reprint it and buy it from them, its hell of a lot easier, but if they wont, people can do it in other ways. No harm intended.
To be honest I was surprised so see the actual design posted. Thats like asking for people to reprint it themselves.
I obviously hit a nerve and that was not my intention. If the DBH staff wants to delete my comment feel free. I didn’t realize it was that serious to reprint a design found online.

Gotta be careful what ya say dude lol. People, including myself, will very easily jump to defend other artists.
They can’t reprint every shirt that is requested. They would be completely overloaded with inventory if that were the case. I’m sure they will get around to reprinting it eventually, it just may take some time.
Also, Jimiyo posted that image as a wallpaper for people to use if they like. He gave permission to use it for that purpose and only that purpose.
No harm done though. Just gotta watch the way you say things.
I didn’t intent to hurt the artist, or any artist on this website. I checked out your page and I see you are an artist too. I just want this shirt really bad, as I loved the book growing up and I love benharman’s take on it. I signed up to this site just for this, and check everyday for reprints and I understand it wont happen right away so that was just another solution. I will wait it out and see what happens. My apologies again if I offended. I’m a girl btw not a dude but its ok.
I love this shirt..I wish I had the opportunity to purchase it before it went out of print.

it’s a little bit too much on the “pun” side for me. far too threadless-y. and WHY do girls’ shirts always look so much better?!
