Inside print? That’s crazy! I was having trouble figuring out why the print is so much more muted than the original submission… now it makes sense! Also explains derekdeal’s surprised reaction! Is this printed with waterbassed inks so the ink seeps into the fabric instead of just resting on top (like plastisol), then?

It seems that from skulls its never enough :) but its a bit frustrating, there was an other skull winner, some days ago

What’s wrong with two good skull designs? If people voted on them and judges picked them, then they should win. Also, I seriously doubt that the artists planned to simultaneously submit skull designs.

I agree with both of you. If a design is good and people like it, it should be printed. At the same time, skulls are overdone and there should be moderators at the site, otherwise it will turn into Threadless (which may be a good thing for some of you, but it isn’t to me). Anyway, this is an interesting concept, so congrats!

Skulls are the oldest symbol of life and death for humanity. In our history we’ve revered, embellished and feared their symbiology. It’s the single most powerful icon of humanity and I imagine will be until our extinction, or until hair bands make a come-back!

i actually saw a similar design of this t-shirt selling at a local store somewhere in singapore (a place where they sell fake goods tshirts) which i reckon they coped your design from here..it really sucks though. even more when i did purchase a shirt for this design..
