The Rising Shadow introduces a large portrait of Bane with Batman running toward the foreground. The ink and brush stokes give this tee energy and texture.
The Bane Shirt, by Mr. Nicolo is known for his intense shirts like Sasquatch and Dino Frenzy. He captures Bane building intensity in his hands, with a brilliant use of blues, accented by orange eyes and energy. The sure grip of Bane comes alive in this T Shirt.
When the bat signal is called the Dark Knight Arises. This Dark Knight Shirt is a sure portrayal of Batman, Gotham and the bat signal.
Once the signal is called the Dark Knight will Come From the Dark. Batman drops to the ground with a storm, accented with the cape flowing from above. This symmetrical balance frames the leading lines so you stare right into Batman's dominance.
The final fight between Batman and Bane under the depths of the bat signal put this design at the top of Christopher Nolan's list. Hello, Mr. Wayne features many fantastic design elements. yeah vote for that baby !!!!
@JustPetrucci I tried renaming the files, all I get when I upload them are reddish bars under the image name. NO check mark or anything. I thought the bars were loading bars but they don’t move or anything.
@ adamwham: Do the reddish bars say anything? Usually that means your dimensions are wrong or your file is not in RGB. (It should also be 8-bit in 300 DPI)
If you’re using Photoshop, go to Edite>Color Settings to check what color mode you’re using. Also make sure your file is a jpg.
@ Guido1: The rejection email that states rejection for quality and design standards is an automated email response. So that’s not always necessarily the reason for rejection. The best way to find out is to email them and ask why it was rejected. My original design was rejected twice before I emailed and asked why. They told me, I fixed it, now I have two up for voting.
@JustPetrucci I’ve done all that. I even called them. All my images are RGB, the right size, and saved as jpg. I’ve adjusted them several times and saved them under different names and still nothing. Ugh I have no idea what it could be.
@JustPetrucci I even tried to upload just a blank grey slate in the same dimensions and RGB as required (to make sure I wasn’t missing something) and I still get the red bar. Nothing seems to be fixing the issue.
Hi Adam,
I just checked the upload page and it is working. Did you check that you filled out the info in each field? Sometimes that throws people off. Check that.
@wotto I filled out everything. I think it’s my images but I don’t know how because they’re all RGB 8 bit 300 DPI and the required measurements. I go back into Photoshop and resize them and everything and still I get this red bar. I’m at a loss for what else to try and fix.
Email me the 3 images and I’ll try and work out what the issue is.
I got a feeling that a logo design is gonna win…
T-T
The standard of art being submitted is blowing my mind. Seriously high bar on this one.
@ adamwham: What I do is open a new Photoshop document, set the size of the canvas, and then place my artwork image into the document and that usually works the best. But now that you’ve got wotto on the case, I’m sure your on the road to resolving the issue… ;)
@ francisem16: As clever and well thought as your design is, I think it’s too much text and not enough awesome graphics. Someone also may have not liked or agreed with what you wrote, which is always possible, and may be a cause of rejection.
@JustPetrucci Thanks a lot! I actually do have lots of Bane artworks that I was initially going to put into the design, but opted for the Gotham logo thinking it might work better with my design theme. More graphics, less texts then…Thanks again.
OK, I submitted my participation, wish me luck U_U, don’t have enough time to change it in case of a rejection.
Another attempt of shameless promotion. Wish me luck, guys!
