@agentredfield
Still love your horse.
Here are some ideas you could work on:
1) The composition – horse is dominating too much on the left side. It tends to fill the shirt canvas too much – horror vacui. What you could do is try different positions and size of your composition or you could draw some more of the horse. This is difficult since it’s a horse – horizontal animal – > position on the shirt very difficult – > Try to flip and rotate the composition -> if it ain’t good draw some more of your horse or try just the head without going too much down the neck – > try some fade out if it’s unfinished horse… Try this and you could send me some preview via Photobucket, Facebook or similar.
2)Grey shirt on this horse ain’t good solution. Blue is the right colour for me. Try some colours which are whites but have a pinch of some other colour. Believe me this horse needs life not grey. Think of what do you want to fill when you wear it – > I feel sea and spring… Don’t ask me why it just does :)
3)Don’t change the idea which pushed you to do your horse like this. It has it’s own unique signature and that is really what means to be an artist. You have made it really simple with these waves and you should not walk from that idea.

Cheers mate!

Hey, I was just wondering what would make my shirt feel more finished? It is the first shirt I’ve ever done so constructive criticism is much appreciated.

Thanks
