hey thanks for the comment about the squids. . .i love ocean creatures, they are so freakin cool and weird. about the color. . .i am actually working on another design with a little bit more color than usual. . .someday maybe i’ll be brave enough to attempt a full color one. . .

hey thanks for asking! i do a drawing and then scan it in, the arrangement and color is done in photoshop. . .in this case the drawing is a colored pencil and acrylic ink combo. just this week i started experimenting with collageing pencil drawings onto paintings and layering glazes over top, i think i’m liking whats happening so i think i’ll use the technique some more. i’m not adventurous by nature so mixing media is a big step for me. :)

What part of the city do you live in? I know it pretty well now since I ride my bike all over.

I was home sick and bored so I designed some mock T’s in photoshop. They are on flickr in the URL link.These are mostly concept mock-ups that I would like to reproduce in mixed media. Photoshop and Illustrator. I’m still waiting on new software for production.
