Honestly, the best way to get votes is to stick around long enough for people to get to know you. Your first sub is top notch, and if you keep producing designs like that you’ll make a name for yourself pretty quick. But you’ll notice that site veterans get votes even on their crappy subs, because they’re well known. The community will perceive you as being a better artist if they see your name all the time.

So i would say, keep doing what your doing! The votes will come, and in the end staff has the final say so you don’t necessarily NEED a lot of votes to win. I’ve seen designs get printed with a few as 30 or 40 votes and they sold quite well.
