Thank U!
@3CardMonte Hey thanks for your question. When working with stars I like to use high quality pictures of stars found on Creative Commons or Flickr Commons. I’ll then bring the picture into Photoshop, mess with the levels to bring out the white and darken the black, halftone the image, then separate the white and black into separate laters. If its looking like there should be more stars I’ll go in on the “White” color layer with my brush tool and add a couple more stars here and there.
Hope this helps! Looking forward to seeing the design.
Just a question- I’m new and trying to work on a new design that involves stars and wanted to know if you have any tips on drawing/creating stars similar to the ones you have in “shooting stars”. Any suggestions would be great.
i thought your stuff looked pretty cool until i saw your rude comments on someone else’s page. now i just think your a jerk. maybe you should just let the designs speak for themselves, and not try to make others feel bad. (especially considering the other person had more votes than you…sounds like sour grapes to me.)

@yomomma, sorry man, I didn’t mean to offend. Looking back at them I realize they’re a bit harsh.
