thanks for the fav and the comments :D well to answer your questions, i always start with drawing on papers, sometimes i scan then and sometime i directly use my wacom to draw it, then i also use pen tool make those straight lines and smooth curves..:D I make some brush effects on papers and i scan them..use it as texture or brushes :D
You can always explore a lot of possibilities with photoshop:D i always watch tutorials ever since, up until now..and it really helps a lot :D
Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and I use a cheap graphics tablet, I’ll use brushes and stock vectors for accenting but not for the main elements I create those myself from scratch or go and grab my digital camera and shoot what I need and work off that, its like hey if you need a tree or clouds, powerlines or whatever just walk outside and there you go

I just draw with pen, like dropping many circles. Then I scan and convert to illustrator format. :)
